There is a pleasant stroll down the garden past these ponds. There is a little rivulet out of each one. The planting surrounding the ponds is very well done

We were very lucky, as it was an absolutely perfect day. The new cafe was very good. We missed the main part of the drought. I have seen the garden totally parched in the distant past, and the ponds very low indeed. It makes me realise what a challenge it is to make this garden so beautiful on this site.
