Great plant, I use to have one of these...

It's a pretty, healthy plant, Pip, but it's not 'Tricolor'. That variety has yellow and red edges. This looks like straight D. marginata, though it has nice color. You might be able to move it outside in your climate--we do here.

Thanks Meanie, 6d, Flori and Flojo!
Whoops, looks like I've got it wrong there Tugbrethil, thanks ;o) It is a D. marginata, but for some reason I was calling it 'Tricolour' as a common name....

I have both Pip, and the tricolour seems to have taken to our lousy summer the best! Both have pretty damaged leaves, which I assume must be down to the constant cycle of rain followed by sun. The tricolour seems to be the fuller plant of the two.
I intend to leave them out until the first frost, and then next year keep them in the conservatory to see the difference in how they fare.
I only paid £1.99 for each of these plants, and was interested in having a bit of an experiment.

Looks healthy!
I've been very hard on mine - they've been outside since the end of March.
