Not as bad as they were although they are so tall they still droop a bit but not all over the cosmos now. As you can see I have some space yet to fill in there so any ideas for when the cosmos all comes out?

Thank you Spritz. you are right they may well be after the light, although they do get plenty of sun at certain times of the day. I think the Geraniums would be a good idea as they are not too tall but should cover the rock, in fact I just planted the one I bought at Wortley Plant Sale and may consider moving it there. It is a lovelywhite one with a purple double fower in its centre. Not Sure about the height though. Also started sending for bulbs etc for spring so I will try and fill it up with a few and maybe get some pictures on next year.
Thanks for all the good advice Spritz. xxx

That geranium sounds like 'Double Jewel'. It's an upright one, so although it would look great, think about one like 'Rozanne' or 'Jolly Bee' which sprawl, too.
P.S. The RHS say they're the same plant! I have both, and I'm not convinced....

Spritz you are good! I'm sure that is the name that was on the label. My memory is getting worse, I used to know all the plant names but the brain is wearing out fast.

Well done! Sorted for the time being, anyway. Looking at the photo - are they in the shadow of the fence? That could explain the drooping - they could be aiming at more light, possibly.
Do you grow hardy geraniums? If you chose one that grows long stems, that would hide that rock during the summer and look great!
Why not plant bulbs and add some winter colour as well, such as pansies or primroses, while you think about perennials.
