This is one of my favorite Clerodendrum species.

One of mine too Delonix, although a tad too tender for the UK.

Meanie:
This Java native is borderline tender here also.

On the plus side, it wasn't a large shrub. Could be another one to clutter up the conservatory!!!!!!

Meanie:
I've seen them about 12 feet/ 4 meters tall in Hawaii. I think 6 feet/ 2 meters would be their max. height here.

It was lovely Pip.
Delonix - I think that the answer is for me to knock down the conservatory and build a bigger one!

I only want to be here for another couple of years really - should be in a position then to buy a much larger property and work less. Trouble is, I'm impatient!

Meanie:
As I get older, I'm becoming more impatient too. Not sure why.

I can sympathise with the impatience..all of a sudden I have twigged about the finality of life! And even if Im really lucky, time is pretty short!! So I dont want things for the home anymore..I want beauty in my garden to enjoy for as long as possible..and tho I cant have this plant Meanie its a cracker so thanks for showing it to me.
And Ive discovered why older people dont need so much sleep...who wants to waste all that time in bed??lol!

Right from the age of eighteen (when I lost three friends in as many months) I've understood how slight our grasp on life is - so I've always been a risk taker and live for the moment.
