mine havent done to well dotty, i had flowers but didnt last long and then plant died off ;o( all others have either not flowered or had one, dont think i any good with clems ;o(

Sorry to hear that San and HB, will let you know how this goes at £1.79 will not be too upset if it gives up the ghost, not that I want it to.

Do you suppose that your wonky winter may have been the reason your clems didn't do well?... I've come to accept that my clems will be different from year to year;...but when the winters are colder (as contradictory as it may seem) they do better!! ??? With very cold winters they die right down to the root...and I thought I had lost my Gillian Blades a number of winters...but when soil warms ..up she comes! My clems don't usually last all season... they seem to shut down after blooming in June and July. Have two autumn blooming types now...can't wait to see how they do.
