Oh dear, I feel like I'm gloating now.
They need it warm and humid to perform at their best, not cool and wet like this summer was. Much as they're called hardy, it would be a good idea to lift them.

I think that it's blooming period will be quite short lived Tastyg, but as long as I get a result year after year then I don't mind at all!

I'll have to research to see if it grows in California's rice fields of the Sacramento Valley.
