Big buds forming on the cardoon. I didn't realize that this would flower like this, so I intent to dry them and see how they work out. Very interesting plant. Maybe it will survive winter? lol.

Thank you. :-) So exotic to me and just an artichoke to others......lol. I would love to find this sprouting again in the spring. Wouldn't that be something?

I'm envious, I took mine to work, thought it would make quite a bold statement, instead it became full of blackfly and horrible, I cut it down quite early ion the season!

Thats unfortunate! I haven't had any pest problems with it outside. I would be pleased to see it sprout up in the spring again, but I doubt it will be quite that tough.
