Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker'

Red leaf plant with yellow flowers, they need supporting, the leaves go to a greener colour in September and that is when I cut it down to ground level, Oh! New growth alsp pops up from the roots. Not a very good photo, didn' like the dry weather.

I got one small pot of Lysimachia aurea and it roots wherever it touches the soil. So I ended up with about six plants. I've never used this plant before. One of the rooted bits grew so long it reached down about 4 foot from the basket and rooted in the soil below! It will all have to be thrown out or frosted....shame
