Thank you. They are nice and big. :-) I can't believe they came through winter so well. I'm hoping it isn't due to the milder winter last year. This particular one is supposed to be hardy enough for me.

I don't think I've ever managed to have a rose flower for longer than about 5 days! Mind you, that's usually because the rain has destroyed them...like today! :((

I hadn't realized just how tender they are. I grew up with a big rosebush and those were much tougher blooms. We've lucked out this summer with enough thunderstorms to wet things, but mostly hot and dry conditions. Not everything liked that, but the rose was in heaven.

its lovely...if bad weather is forcast i pick myself a bunch of flowers to save them...

Oh, that's a fantastic idea! As short a season I get too its well worth it. :-)
