yes not to bad, been baking all morning. you o.k.

Few aches & pains in back & legs, sciatica. Otherwise ok. Learn to live with it. Been sorting greenhouse to make room for tender plants to overwinter, and pricking out seedlings of coleus. Did my baking yesterday !

I know the feeling Cinders, Dr said I have Osteo Arthritis all down the right side, painfull to walk sometimes,to young to have a walking stick but who cares it gets me around ! you have had a busy day today, I baked Shirleys plum cake yesterday, the third one, made 10 lge cornish pasties this morning for OH I freeze them for him, and 24 cornbeef and potatoe tarts, having a break now. Lol

Wow. Sounds good. I made the toffee apple cake yesterday, and three Blackberry and Apple pies for the freezer. Probably use some more apples tomorrow as have alot and want to use them up. Lol

blackberry and apple pies sound great, what was the toffee apple cake like, I must try it, watched river cottage last night and he did liver with with a sauce, redcurrant jelly cider vinegar mustard worcester sauce tabasco sauce, double cream, so I am going to make it tonight,

Toffee apple cake was lovely, but I didnt put all that cream, I put an extra layer of sugared apples and made it into upside down cake. I will have to go into Iplayer & watch last nights River cottage. Sounds lovely. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Dotty. Yes the recipe for Shirleys Plum Cake is one of Shirley_tulips blogs. Lots of us have made it and it is really nice. Toffee apple cake is one of Gee's. I agreeYorkshire's corned beef and potato tarts also sounds good.
