Hope not! I did read in the book they sometimes live in the pond for up to 4 years till the emerge as a dragonfly. Yuk!!

Thanks Roseberry, but I mustn't take the credit for the drawings of both the lavae. The drawings come from a book about ponds and I ve just taken a photo of the page. :o))
