This is 1 of the 3 pots we were given by neighbours which although it was broken Geoff decided to split it in two and save the good half for a planter on the wall. He put a back onto it and secured it under our kitchen window. Hosta is not there permanently, we are looking for something to over winter in it now.

What a brilliant idea, we all have broken pots, I usually keep them for the bottom of planters.. What did Geoff use for the back Bellflower?

Thank you Val and YD, I am thinking of hiring him out as an unusual idea advisor. YD the backing was a piece of hardboard which he glued on with no nails and for extra security he tied some wire around the back and across the lip of the pot and then sat in on a steel bracket screwed to the wall below it. Then he lined the back of pot with polythene after he had varnished it, so the wood wouldn't rot.
