Hmm...well difficult to know for sure. It was about 5' tall when I planted it and now it's been in for 4 and 1/2 years. I would guess it must be about 6 years old. It has been producing berries ever since it was planted though.

Darn it, cant think how I missed this..wouldve been perfect where my rowan is (which doesnt want to berry). Sorbus would have been a better shape for that position

I think this may be Sorbus hupehensis 'Pink Pagoda'. The leaves have a blue-ish cast?

Quite right Vincent. I only knew about it Tetrach, because I saw it in a friend's garden and asked. I used to have a different hupehensis in my old garden and the berries weren't as pink, so now I've managed to get these. I had to search online and I bought them mail order from a nursery in Cumbria....so they were tough when they arrived!
