Yes, it's in flower now, Karen. I've only just received it....I'm hoping the buds will open and flower too.
And yes, it is one of the sasanqua "Narumi-Gata".....does that help you? I think I posted under one of the photos info about growing conditions etc. If you'd like the info provided with the camellia I'd be happy to provide :)

Thanks Whistonlass. We'll see how mine gets on...it's looking well at the moment...a lot will depend on how this winter turns out! It's good good acid soil, nicely drained and is in the shade of a tree, but in the warmest part of the garden. I've done my best...just have to wait and see now!

It's got one bloom on it at the moment...a couple have bloomed and dropped off but there are still buds there. So I talked nicely to it today and gave it a little drink and I think we're getting on just fine :)

I found my narumi in the soil while clearing out. It wasn't the one I thought it was! I've taken it out and potted it up and it's in the greenhouse now. It was in soggy boggy bit....no use at all. I'll leave it over winter in the greenhouse and then think about what to do with it later. The one I thought was naummi is a different one, but another sasanqua.....I think it has purple flowers...but as I said, no buds this year. ;(

With all your tender ways with plants, Karen, I'm sure it will remarkably recover :)

Hi Lins....I am keeping well although I have had problems with my laptop (fingers crossed as it seems to be some better the last day or so).
Nothing happening in the garden with all the rain and cold...roll on spring (I bet we're all saying that!).
I really hope my camelia will get healthy, growing buds and flower for me in the autumn. Hard to tell at the moment...there are a few tiny buds on the branches so we shall see.
I do agree, Lins...the bloom on this is very nice. :))
