Here is a photo of Helianthus "Lemon Queen" when I first saw it from a distance - really eye-catching!
I took this photo at the Cambridge Botanical Gardens (UK) on 25th September 2010

These are nearly 5ft tall. With distance they look shorter. It make depend on your soil also, somehow I don't think these receive the same care as our garden plants.

Not as tall if they don't get water in summer.

As I say above these plants were about 5 foot tall. I don't know what height they might reach if kept well watered. Without something to give an idea of height it's very difficult to convey in a photo. Anyway I did take this picture from some way off.
