Goodness! No wonder it didn't like being in a pot! Lovely colour and healthy shiny leaves too! You'd better not call it a thug to it's face!

I think its the orginal thorny model from Sleeping Beauty..I cut this down almost to ground level every year, and not matter how I tried to control it it managed to kill my choisya Sundance! Poor thing died of lack of light!

That's sad Tetrarch, but it is lovely...I was going to say, at least we can always give a rose a good prune...seems like yours takes that as a challenge!!
