Yes. We first heard about its healing purposes in St Lucia. I think you find it in most sunburn lotions too. I have not used it for cuts yet. Lets hope I have no gardening accidents in the near future!!

I have just been given an aloe vera plant and it is twisty and curly...a bit like yours...looks healthy too so I'm hoping I can keep it looking good. I killed off the last one I had been given by the same friend. She's such a good friend, she's giving me a 2nd whack at it! lol
Yours seems to have lots of new growth, Linda....lookin' good. Do you use your plant as a remedy for cuts? That was originally the purpose of my first plant and it is very soothing to cut a leaf/stem (not sure what they are called) and let the 'juice' go on your wound. Maybe you know about that already?
