Put this in early summer, no flowers this year but I love the foliage.

Yes Whiston, quite a wide spread too for a short plant and the slugs have been nowhere near it - at least not yet. looking forward to the flowers next year.. . . . Oh ! this one bought in a local garden centre.

What...a GCentre??? lol So you can keep it in the ground overwinter then? I can't do any in-the-ground planting until spring now as our back garden isn't ready to put in established borders....thinking about raised beds actually for convenience but not sure.

That's a very healthy looking specimen - bodes well for flowers next year. :-)

Does this plant hug the ground, SB? It looks like it would be a good filler in a border.
