I'm a callamaniac, Motinot!~ I love them. Have more to dig but it's raining quite hard. At least it's rain and not snow!

You will love them Sanbaz... I like to let them dry in the outdoors..then I bring them in and remove the tentacles (roots..lol) then I put them in a paper bag and store the bags in a kiddie pool(it's a good way to contain the dirt and mess) in the basement with my other bulbs and corms. Ideal temp range for storage is 42-45 degrees F., 5-7 Celcius. but my basement is warmer so, I check them mid winter to make sure they aren't drying out too much. You can store them at optimum for 2 to 10 months... Most are hardy to zone 7-10..but where it's colder they must be lifted after they become dormant in the autumn. A root cellar would be perfect but in suburbia everything must be high and dry!
