It's a spectacular shrub! Check out Bernieh's beautiful, large flowering shrubs in Townsville, Australia.
It's a difficult shrub to grow here because our hard water will usually kill it. I had one many years ago, until all the leaves turned brown and it died. This plant has only been receiving rain water.

It is a spectacular shrub! However, it's considered ultra-tropical and even somewhat difficult to grow here. I hope to find a good spot in the ground next year.

Ah ha! It's doing well Andy! I trimmed back my pink and it's full of tiny new bracts again ... must be the showers of rain we've been getting in the last two months!! The white I didn't trim and it's not showing any sign of new bracts!

Yes, I'm so pleased how well this plant is doing! I hope it continues to bloom through fall and winter.
I would love to purchase the white flowering Mussaenda but I don't ever recall seeing it for sale here.
I look forward to seeing the photos when your plants bloom. :>)
