In full bloom again as winter approaches!

This is a second proper flush of flowers Alexandra. I'd have thought that your climate wouldn't be too ideal for Fuchsia!

I bought five of them this year and I'm still trying to figure them out. Two of them are doing kind of good and they are in a spot that gets some shade. The other three were in full sun , they didn't do well....and then my puppy distroyed them this week.

Some shade would be good, plus a reasonable amount of water - they're not drought tolerant.

Right, the two I have left are getting shade and lots of rain at the moment. Let's hope they do better next summer.

so shiny they look like wax

Makes it hard to get a nice photo though Yorkshire.

I don't know what makes you say that Meanie, the photo is brilliant

I'm a little irritated by the glare on the flowers though!

your far to fuzzy

Maybe!
Could be my foul mood too!
Vandals broke into my compound last night and have done about £15000 of damage. Trouble is, anything outside is uninsured. Three cars and two vans were burnt out in total on the estate. We've got them on CCTV, but what use is that.

Oh Keith, I am so sorry to hear that, I don't know what to say to you, SORRY doesn't seem enough.
16 Oct, 2010
My business partner and I feel like giving up to be honest! They were organized from what can be seen on the CCTV.
16 Oct, 2010
I hope they get them, but thats not going to repair all the damage done, I can quite understand about giving up, give it a few days and think about it, don't make any rash decisions just yet, easier said than done, but try and keep your chin up.
16 Oct, 2010
Oh boy that is really ------ up. Times are bad enough, I would feel the same way.
16 Oct, 2010
I've stayed away on purpose today. I'll think better once this bug has cleared!
We've been busier than ever this year, but are owed £80000! Whilst things aren't all bad, we could be in a far better position if people paid up.
Selling up and moving is getting more appealing. I fancy the Far East, but Sue doesn't.
16 Oct, 2010
I really don't think moving would be wise now. I know soooo many people that have left Greece this year. My best-friend from the states is telling me things are still bad over there. If you can get all the money owed to you, you'de feel better. Take your time.
16 Oct, 2010
The money isn't a great issue really as we're fortunate enough to be in a position to ride that side of things. We really just don't want the aggro any more!
16 Oct, 2010
Well if you can live comfie somewhere else then go for it. Then we can see your garden in a warmer dryer climate....sounds good hey.
16 Oct, 2010
Ideally need another eight years to get the mortgages paid off. I think it's just a reaction at the moment, but maybe not. We couldn't ride out being owed an extra eighty grand next year.
16 Oct, 2010
Guess we'll be seeing your wet dark garden for a while then. I'm off, there is magor lightnight coming down at the moment. Take care.
16 Oct, 2010
What's a lightnight??
16 Oct, 2010
Sorry, meant lightning. Had my hard drive toasted a few years ago from lightning.
17 Oct, 2010
Ah.... I know what that is!!

lol...;o)

Thanks Homebird. The business is safe - just our continuing to own it is under consideration.
Yes, it's a little gem this one!!
