This has flowered all summer and still appears to have plenty of life in it.
The flowers are about 25mm in diameter, and of all the flowers in the garden, this is the one that I struggle the most to capture well.

Well, for this one I had to cut the flower and stem off, strip the leaves back and then photograph it in the conservatory!

Meanie:
Great shot! Which species is this? Hopefully, not Tradescantia pallida! Tradescantia pallida - Green Wandering Jew drives me insane!!! It pops up everywhere...it's almost like it comes out of thin air.

This is Tradescantia virginiana Delonix - the blue form can spread like hell, the white one doesn't seem as bad.

Meanie:
I looked it up...it's a beautiful plant!
The one that drives me insane isn't Tradescantia pallida, it's Tradescantia flumenensis, a green-leaf vining Wandering Jew which is a horrible weed here and in Florida. It also has little white flowers.

That's sold as a house plant here Delonix, so we don't find it too invasive!!
