This is 1 of 3 Alexander Palms planted along the back fence. This one has been plagued by scale and other pest for so long...it's finally pest free since I gave it a systemic pesticide. Photo taken Oct. 20, 2010.

Alexander Palm (Archontophoenix alexandrae) and King Palm (Archontophoenix cunninghamiana) are very commonly planted here. I really do love these Queensland, Australian natives though!
