This is my first time growing a tree peony so I really don't know what to expect. Have it in a pot in a sunny area and protected from wind (kind of). Will plant it in the garden next fall.

iv had one for two years Alex but nothing yet, i may move it or plant in pot to see if my luck changes, good luck with your, your better weather is sure to help ;o))

Alex. It might pay you to dig a hole in your soil and set the pot down in,this will reduce the sharp fluctuations in temperature and should help the roots to establish.
You said you had found a Galanthus article to read have i missed it

Sanbaz, what color is yours? I know that peonies need to be a few years old before they bloom... I bought mine as a three years old plant so I'm hoping to see flowers this summer. Fingers crossed. We can compare this summer, maybe we'll both have some flowers. :o)

Brian, I put it in a really large pot....I'm afraid to re-pot it now....It's in a kind of sheltered spot that faces south. Maybe I will dig a big enough hole for it soon, our weather is still mild.
I will send you the address for the Galanthus...it's on my son's pc.
I will post a picture of the wild cyclames I dug out yesterday and are now in my back garden. Been looking at all the hill sides for our galanthus....be patient, I'll find them.
