The orangey yellow ones have been in flower for ever, for years, and vialli also seem to bloom for ages:-)

Philaris arundinarea picta...ok gardeners garters, picta. Can be invasive, but I find it very handsome..and it's in a sunken pot, likes moist soil, possibly a little too much, I'll probably find the roots have run out the bottom of pot, but still love it:-)

My 2 year old vialli bulked up well this year with lots of flowers, but they finished ages ago ! You must have VERY green fingers. I shall go and give mine a stern talking to ... lol :-)

I'm afraid my fingers are not green Muddy, I bought them this year from Gardeners World live and when the flowers appeared , I was surprized to see the purple flowers vanish over night, then the red bit...eventually removed a very fat caterpillar! Perhaps his pruning is what worked the wonder? I still, just about, have flowers even after the frost:-)

Lol. Have you seen this type of caterpillar in your garden before or do you think he hitched a ride with the plant ?
