Thanks very much friends! I have a vision of this shrub as a second tier planting along a winding drive...I think the maximum height is 15 feet...but planted with white cedar behind and low growing junipers in front, would be a nice vista against a hillside of Maples in autumn!

No I haven't tried yet, Tetra. I think they are already dormant, we've had a couple of frosts...the leaves turn and drop and the fruit remain on the shrub for well into the winter...the little birds like them!
They are not an expensive shrub so I think (since I have too many irons to juggle) and I'm so busy mixing metaphors, that I'll just buy a plant when the time comes.hehe...
