My lovely acer towards the day

Had her getting on for about 3 yrs now, she was about up to halway on that window frame so has grow quite a bit. Had to trim a couple of her stems off this year so keeing an eye on her

but she has really liked her new super huge pot, not sure if i can get a bigger pot for next time though

should do well for a few season's in that pot.
Last year I scrubbed out the top 4" of soil & replaced with fresh on the acers but defo bigger pots for 2011.
I'm exceptionally lazy when it comes to 'feeding' plants but will read-up on what acer's prefer & 'do right' by them next Spring.

well my other acer the Shishigashira also needs a new pot. I notice the stem is very thick and the leaves are not as good as they were. my basic knowledge tells me biggish leaves=happy smaller=not happy

superb - - -I'm patiently waiting for my upward growing acers to reach this height ( booked-in for a re-pot next Spring) excellent colour & setting.
