Hi Piethelm, I have planted Lippia and it has grown very nicely. Here is a note about it that I copied from Google....
Also known as Phylla nodiflora.
A very tough sun loving ground cover that will tolerate some shade. Useful for banks and areas difficult to mow. It has a small daisy-like white flower, which attracts bees. It can be slashed twice a season to control it.
