Java Wax Vine is growing more than 20 feet/ 6.1 meter up in this tree at the San Diego Zoo. This Indonesian vine is very fast growing. Photo taken Oct. 27, 2010.

Yes, the flowers do hang down pretty low...but the fragrance is worth it. :>)

You're welcome. There's so many species of this vine which grows outside here in California. I used to see big ones growing on fences especially cyclone fences in the San Francisco Bay Area.

My Mother has a very much smaller variety of this an a houseplant ! Shame the gorgeous flowers need to be upturned to be appreciated, lovely scent too.
