Panama Rose flowers look very similar to Pentas and Ixora...because their all in the same family (Rubiaceae - Coffee family). This large shrub used to very commonly available in the 70's and early 80's. Unfortunately, now it can hardly be found in any nursery. Photo taken at the San Diego Zoo on Oct. 27, 2010.
