Triangle palm is native to the drier parts of Madagascar. Actually, it amazes how many Malagasy natives have adapted extremely well to our climate.

You are full of great information, D1. I've seen other pics you have posted of these wonderful palms...their distinctive shape is unmistakeable but it's cool that they don't need a lot of water.. To what part of the globe are they native?
