You could try with a bigger plant, it might work...I really should have it as a houseplant here, because it needs the air conditioning...it's so hot usually that it wilts very fast. And then grows again.

I may discover that it is grown outdoors here in the UK...I'll check around and see what I can find out, Raquel.
I am from B.C. originally and I don't remember seeing this grown outside and our climates (B.C. and north-west UK) are similar.
Just googled and found it requires humid conditions but can be grown outdoors if not in full sun.

I've only grown this indoors...I wonder if it's hardy enough for our UK climate to be outside? They usually do grow very well as a houseplant when I've had them years ago.
