Yorkshire:

It grows very quickly. Angel's trumpets blooms off-and-one profusely from fall through spring and less floriferous in summer when they suffer from the heat here in inland San Diego.

Palmate:

Thanks! :>)

It's only one plant. All my plants are growing like gangbusters. It's because this past October was the third wettest on record in San Diego...I received probably 3 inches/ 76mm of rain here this month. Typically, we don't receive any rain in October. I actually have green grass in the front and back yard...this is the first time I've ever seen this. :>)

Now, we are having very hot weather most of this week, it's going to be 90F/ 32C. or hotter!

Mushybanna:

Yes, as unusual as it sounds! With the hot weather we've been getting it's growing very fast too. :>)

I'm going to post a pic of my green grass tomorrow in the front and back yards...it'll have to be mowed this weekend. Not used to mowing this time of year. LOL! :>)

If it wasn't so wet i could mow the lawn too.its so mild the grass is still growing. But according to the BBC its going to get colder at the weekend ;o((

Mushybanna:

Has it been very rainy there?

Hope it doesn't get too cold for you there! It's too early in the season to get cold!

This weekend our temps are suppose to get back to normal. Thank God! It's 92F/ 33C right now at 1:00 p.m. The temp will probably peak out at 95F/ 35C today where I live. It'll peak out at around 100F/38C further inland.

Palmate:

You wouldn't believe me if I told how HOT it is tonight. My house feels like an oven! I have all the fans on...however, it's just blowing hot air around. It's miserable! :>(

Well, after this summer in San Diego...I'm not sure. lol!
I would probably be with a jumper and windbreaker. I don't have an overcoat though. lol! I have a thin leather jacket which I occasionally use in winter. :>)

I can imagine that feels quite horrible ...Hope it gets a bit cooler for you .Our wind is going to change from your neck of the woods (south westerly) to coming from the north at the weekend BBrrrr :o((

Mushybanna:

Well, today (Oct. 4, 2010) was even hotter than yesterday, even after the weather people said it was going to cool down. It was officially 100F/ 38C. today in downtown San Diego, breaking the previous record of 97F/36C for the date, which was set back in 1976. It also, was the hottest temperature ever recorded in the month of November (for downtown San Diego only).

It's suppose to cool down quite a bit by Sunday, thank God!!!

I'll be sending some hot Santa Ana Winds your way this weekend...so you won't get too cold. :>)

5 Nov, 2010

Good man, i can feel the warmth already ..
I assume you meant Nov 4 and not oct ..:o)))

5 Nov, 2010

Mushybanna:

LOL! Yes, I meant Nov. 4th. See the heat has affected by brain, literally! It's still 88F/ 31C. at 1:00 a.m. in my house...and I can't sleep. :>(

I guess I'll have to break down and put the A/C on and try to go to sleep.
