I have just bought one of these lovely plants on a visit to the Eden Project in Cornwall where they grow planted out in the soil. I'm not so sure it would survive in my Hampshire garden ???? It is quite small about 10 inches high in a 5" pot but it is falling over as top heavy. Would it be better if I re-potted it in a larger pot with some form of stake for support? Also what potting compost shall I use?

evening Moleo
lucky you visiting such a lovely part of the country.
I would pot it up into a slightly bigger pot, terracotta if possible using cacti compost or mix equal parts compost, sand, and fine grit and water well for the next few weeks. but bring it inside for the winter it will be much happier...:-)
