What is that big one in the middle, is it Yew?

No it isnt I think its a tassel bush, I'll look it up when i've got a bit more time!

Do you think its too big and too near the house!

yes, I dont know who planted it but its been there a while. Its a Garrya elliptica, Silk tassel bush! And with my reputation for lobbing bushes I wouldnt dare to cut it. More interested in removing the verginia creaper from the inside of the windows. But that room, part of the managers flat is used for storage, so no ones worried. I have a slowly does it policy in the works grounds. working my way round from the back, this bed is the first at the front I have turned my attention too!
In the spring I will photo all the beds at the front of the building...................so you can see what I'm up against!
