Gate in Late Autumn, September

I just took a shot to showcase the dianthus and hosta slowly filling in at the foot of the gate. I would like the hosta to take over there, but it has proven a slow grower in my garden, though unmarred by predators.

Thank you Gilli. Could do with a return of the wild brush masking the neighbors stuff. :-)

What a quirky gate it makes a nice setting for all your pretty flowers!

Very Rustic, GT, love the shot.

Thank you. I like to make things from the natural materials around, and the garden needed a gate. The birch came from trees thinned from a friends property where he is building a house. I like the hosta at its feet, but sure wish it would take off.
