Thank you BF....My favourite is the white one.
I'm going to take some more cuttings and put them indoors, these are planted outside now.

BF if they were outside here there would nothing left of them, had more snow again this morning, hoping we can get the car out thursday as we have a 400 mile round journey to do to see the family for 4 days.

Oh boy, I remember those days....shovelling the snow so we could get the car out and go to work....OH the good old days.
I hope you enjoy your trip with your family. Make sure to take lots of pictures.
We are having good temperatures still 21C today but it's cloudy and yukky. Rains one day, cloudy the next then rain again...Our sunny days better come back pronto!!!

Can't help myself...But this winter so far is soooo wet!!!
YUK ;o(
I went to help my mother-in-law with the olive picking today.(first time)....There were hundreds of wild cyclamen under the nets....and I collected wild heather. It grows as a shrub.

sounds like you have had a nice day, lucky you.

No, my knee hurt now. Olive picking is not at the top of my list, more like the very bottom.

Alexandramou:
Did you plant the cutting directly into the soil?
I started a cutting from my Bougainvillea 'Orange King' a month ago. It has rooted and it's in a container in my backyard already. I rooted it in a container of water...and was actually surprised it grew and generated roots.
Hope you get your nice sunshine back soon. We're in store for another cold night here in San Diego...the temps maybe dipping down to around 40F/4.5C. by early morning where I live... this is so very unusual! I've never seen these kinds of cold temps, this time of year here in San Diego. It's going to warm up considerably for the rest of the week though (so the meteorologist say) LOL!

Delonix,
Yes, I planted them directly into the soil...
I like your water method as well....will put the next set of cutting in water but have them indoors as the wind is crazy this year.
Our temperatures are still nice and warm and will stay that way the whole week....a low of maybe 16C at night (so the meteorologist say) ;o)))
Wait until the north wind blows...chilly ;o( But at least no more rain.

Alexandramou:
Look forward to seeing your Bougainvillea plants next year. :>)
It's amazing how crazy the weather has been all around the world! You're getting the kind of warm, windy (our Santa Ana winds are very hot and dry) weather we typically get this time of year. (November is statically, the sunniest month of the year in San Diego).
Trivia: last year on this date in San Diego the high/low temp. was: 77F/25C, 55F/13C...what a difference a year makes. LOL! :>)
