The double tuberous Begonia tuber main plants now out of their pots. Laid out on the greenhouse bench to dry out, before brushing them off to get the tuber ready for starting off next season.

Thanks, i'm looking forward to the shows.
If i can get enough plants up to standard, i might see if i can enter with a stand (if it's in next years schedule).

To be honest, i don't know.
Perennial means lasting a long time or forever, constantly recurring, living for several years.
They wouldn't last outside throughout the winter, the frost would have them. But providing they are taken into a frost free place, compost dried and brushed off, and started in a fresh 50/50 mix (or similar) in a warm place, putting out in a the shade when all risk of frost has past they will grow for a few years - probably several years, but as the tubers get larger they aren't so good for show plants (although i believe some growers use larger tubers for multi stemed plants, which i am not very keen on). Also larger tubers need larger pots, i wouldn't have room for them if they got too big, and they would take a lot more handling to get them to the shows.

Thanks Mark all the info I read on them also lists them as annuals.
