Overnight frost melted across the steps but the bidens and bacopa still going strong. One of my favorite displays of the summer. Warming me up on a cold winters day like today.

Thanks. :-) We are well into the season of white here as well. These are shots from the late summer, saved to have something to post a little warmer in the cold season. Not many left though. :-) I hope you're doing okay. Sounding really messy over there. You must thank you snow though, for protecting your plants from the unusual cold.

Hmmm....snow is on top of about 2" of solid ice!! Not much protection! :((

Eek Karen. I forget that it is just so much more wet there. We got a rain that compacted all our snow, but still not hat ice you can get. Yikes.
Thank you Delonix. Its been -30F for the last few days but warming up a little to the single digit subzeros. Nothing like this at all. :-)

GT, I'm confused.....not unusual....but hey, you live in Alaska and you have.... no snow? Over here we are completely stymied and we've been having minus umpteen degrees C overnight AGAIN overnight......am I missing something? ;).........scratches head!
