Lovely sight that morning, but once I had returned after the day at work, I found that they were all frozen in bloom and passed well over when I returned. Still a beautiful sight that morning, an apt end to a beautiful summer.

This turned out to be the end of the garden for the year. Colder than I realized even that day.

Probably more snow there for now. We only have about 6in on the ground after a strange rain wore it all down. Been years since we had a good base like this. I hope your getting through things alright Robert.

This looks a little different than the photo you posted of the same venue, a little while ago. It looks much colder. LOL
