Thanks Andy ... I think I've now worked out how to look after all the potted plants properly, so thanks for the compliment. It's taken a while to get it right ... but they're all doing well now. Over the last two years, I've learned some hard lessons taking care of the 100 plus pots I have, but it's been well worth it.

I know what you mean about taking care of potted plants...I've got many more 100 potted plant. Unfortunately, sometimes they do get neglected. Here most need so much water throughout the year.

I noticed your Blechnum gibbum - Silver Lady Fern is growing very well.

Know all about the watering regimen ... it's something I now have under control at long last. Yes my two Belchnums are doing very well ... it's amazing how many of my visitors notice them!

They are a very popular dwarf tree fern here in San Diego...large ones are quite inexpensive, only around $16.00 for a 4ft/1.2m plant.

I posted some photos of B. gibbum on Coronado Island a couple of weeks ago...check them out if you get a chance. They were almost 6ft/ 2m tall.

Had a look, Andy ... just fabulous. They're definitely one of the most attractive looking ferns.
