Yikes! I hear you guys are getting socked again & half of the US has either gotten or will get some major snow! We're nice and warm today, yay! In a way I'm glad that my Christmas trip to Florida has been cancelled, because I hate to fly in bad weather.

Sticki, we must be optimistic. Yes, tomorrow is the first day of winter, but December will be over in 11 days. Then we really only have January and February to get through. Here, the warmup begins in late February. Our spring wildflowers really begin to bloom around that time. So we don't have to put up with this for that much longer. I hope we have gone through the worst and the rest of the winter will be a bit more pleasant (as forecasted by all the "experts!).

sounds lovely! have you got a few buds already showing? i had a lovely yellow hellebore last year, it was gorgeous!
have to redesign one of my flower beds in the spring when the builders have finished ~ thats always good!

No buds on the hellebores - I've been checking - but I do have buds on the lilac and the red buckeye.
