Just trying out my new camera that the lovely Julie bought me for my birthday(yes, another year older)
This leaning Oak in my neighbour's garden is still holding a lot of it's leaves. One of my customers' Silver Birch is still quite full of leaves. I'm waiting for them to fall, and the snow to clear so i can go and sweep the leaves up for her!!

It's only a 'snaps ' camera Gee. I'm not much of a photographer but these modern digitals take such good, easy photos don't they. It's an Olympus X-44

Oaks often hold their leaves for a long time. There's one in the back lane behind my house and it's bare. But another one about a mile away seems to have all it's leaves still - except they've gone brown.

thank you Sanbaz.
I have a customer who has three huge oaks in their garden Hywel and it's very often January before all the leaves are down. At least it gives me some work(clearing the leaves) in the depths of the winter if there's no snow on the ground.

looks like the camera and its owner are working well!! what sort is it?
we had 7" of snow and then the leaves fell down on top ~ it looked very odd!!

We've had lots of snow and ice but still, the leaves remain on the Oak and on one of my customers' Birch!!
It's an Olympus X 44. Only a compact (snaps ) camera but it's so much better than my old (Tesco own brand) one!!!!

Your new camera is working well. I'd be interested to know what you have chosen. I noticed there are a few oak trees in our woods that had leaves until these last snow storms.
