The pond rebuild

The pond, refilled after the installation of the new butyl liner. We also laid a new 4" deep lining of building sand under the liner to prevent any sharps going through the liner. The fish were reintroduced after adding plenty of anti stress drops and swimming around happily.

That's a lovely big pond for the fish and wildlife. Hope the herons keep away.

Wow...bet you went exhausted after that days work....hope you have a huge net to keep the dreaded Herons off...

We eventually had to completely wire net the pond in order to keep the Heron at bay. Totally spoilt the overall appearance but kept the fish alive. I will add a photo to show later.
