This vulture just won't leave the house. He's sitting in my butternut tree, driving my poor dogs crazy.

who knows? Maybe he thinks it's just a good place to roost. My sister used to have about 25 of them roosting every evening in one of her trees. Eventually they moved on.

We dont see birds like this in Ireland.....I always thought them a bit frightening......

They do a good job, Moti, cleaning up all the roadkill & dead stuff. They can pick a deer carcass clean in no time.

I would be in my element seeing your flora & fauna L. I have a daughter in Baltimore & the first time I visited the states I just about melted my camera with all the shots I took. Quite incredible to see turkey vultures circling above your head when all your life seagulls are the norm & thats about as exciting as it gets in the UK.
