Dogwood!

Love the colours of these. Pity we havent more space. And its a good job you didnt try taking a pic of the black stemmed one Lulu! Not that time of night anyway lol!

The green shows up well in the dark.

Funnily enough I did take a night pic of the black one but it wasn't worth uploading!!!

I have a couple of flame coloured dogwoods too. They are just a stick at the moment, need to move them now they have shown me that they are alive!!

Lulu, I find the flame coloured are really slow growers. I lost one of two, so I moved the other one and bought a replacement, but compared to the green ones, they are pathetic!

I will have to keep an eye on them Karen. The 2 I have are one twig about 12" long!!

Yes, don't expect much for at least two years Lulu..mind you, you are a lot further south of course, which may make a big difference! :)) lucky you!!....I don't mean that really, I love Scotland but I do sometimes wish we had a longer growing season...that's all...not warmer or dryer but just a bit longer summers!
