The two large clumps of palms on each side of the reflecting pool are Everglades palms which are native to Florida. Photo taken Jan. 17, 2011.

Thanks! Yes, Balboa Park is the jewel of San Diego. There's always a lot of people in this park all year. It's the largest urban cultural park in the U.S.
