Winter in San Diego California

Is this a flowering cherry? I think there's a few in Balboa Park...however, we don't see too many here in San Diego.
It's too warm for them here.

Not sure it's a cherry or maybe possibly a peach. It's blooming in the dog park just west of the Cabrillo Bridge.

I've seen these tree many times. They do bloom in January every year...from what I've seen. I'll have to get a closer look to see exactly what they are. :>)
