This is the bush that I would like to transplant. Is it possible without killing it?

This photo is of "Red Tip" in Asaflygirl's garden
looks more like a tree than a bush, Asaflygirl. Can you post a clearer picture, please. You can transplant trees but it's best to prepare the tree: when the tree has shed it's leaves in autumn start the transfer by spading around the tree to a depth of the spade (no digging here just sink the spade to it's maximum depth)at the drip line to cut any surface roots. (the drip line is a circle around the tree at the branch ends...usually a circle of 2 to 3 feet diameter), and pre-dig the hole it's being transferred to... then when it goes into it's rest cycle(dormancy)in late fall dig it up keeping as much of the roots and their soil as possible, wrap burlap around the roots and soil. then protect the root ball from freezing during winter. you can move the tree with the large root ball of soil wrapped in burlap. to it's new spot.. Tip it in and amend the soil if you need to and..give it lots of water when the ground thaws in spring. you can remove the burlap or leave it on..You may have to anchor it with guy ropes for the first year..for more detailed instruction check out your local library...or do a google search. it's not as hard as it sounds.
