Mandy being snowed in....

AHHH !! a photo to melt the heart (but not the snow :-)

As was the case last winter, we had mild sloppy weather (wet snow and rain) between Christmas and New Years. All of January's snow has been fluffy, light and crystalline. I try to keep it shovelled but dread the coming of our first spring thaw as that usually means MUD!

hope she is soon finding her way ~ and her home!

lol...thanks, Sticki... She is more accepting now. At 13 she's spent all of her life in one place...she feels terribly uprooted, poor thing. We're treating her like the Queen. She is not amused.

Hello Hywel...yes it has taken almost a month for her to relax a little. Won't be long til she doesn't remember the other place. As for hubby and I, we're happy as clams...love the place. How is lovely Blodyn these days?
Hi Cristina...yes she has a very woolly coat, she sleeps in the snowbanks while I'm out clearing the driveway!

wish i had such a warm coat - sleeping in snow banks - thats amazing!

Mandy may just be one of the most "cared for" creatures in the area... we dote on her...love her to pieces. She gets the best.

i bet she is to Lori,i wish my hubby was a dog person, i so miss having a dog, but casper gets as much love but i always say cats arent the same as dogs for being loyal,

Goodness, for a minute I thought you had a visiting wolf! Wouldn't be too surprised. Do you have any wolves near you Lori?

She is absolutely beautiful by the way....love her! Never seen her before...how did I miss her? I want one like this...the only kind that would be able to boss Molly!

yes guess your right there Lori, casper is very much our cat especially mine even though he does come in when he feels like it, lol i call him quite ofter before he struts home ;o) but he loves his cuddles and always sneaks into bed with us haah

San: oooo cold kitty paws...my cousin has a cat who likes to crawl right down to the foot of the bed. (under the covers of course)
Hi Karen, haven't seen any wolves, wouldn't be surprised though. have seen a pair of foxes.
Mandy was fine when we had K.C. (kitty cat) things got a little hissy occassionally, but Kase was a very cool cat and took everyone as they came...cat, dog or person. ONce Mandy had that sorted out things were much more amiable.

What a gorgeous dog! Lovely Mandy :-) And her coat is just made for sleeping in the snow. I'm sure she makes a fine companion anywhere. OK, maybe not a hot beach...

Mandy does suffer in the summer heat... She's 13, and her hips are bad...so she stays home a lot. but she likes to "help" me do the snow shovelling.
